The Magnolia Panthers picked up their 7th straight win as they beat Warren 58-47 Tuesday night in Fordyce. The games were played in Fordyce because of water damage in the Warren gym. The Panthers were led by Darrien Ford with 31 points. Markeveon Strickland added 11 points and Coby Garland had 9. The Panthers are 6 and 0 in the 4A-8 Conference, 13 and 3 overall.
In the girls’ game, Warren defeated Magnolia 50-37. Magnolia was led by Ashunti Humbert with 12 points and Keshunti Brantly with 10. The Lady Panthers fell to 3 and 3 in conference action, 9 and 8 for the season.
Magnolia has an open date Friday. They play at home Tuesday against Crossett.
