Magnolia Police report the arrest on July 31st of 40-year-old Matthew West of Taylor for Sexual Assault 4th Degree. A juvenile female reportedly made allegations that she was sexually assaulted. The police report states that, during the investigation, Matthew West was identified as a suspect. A warrant was issued and he was arrested; his bond is set at $150,000.
In another case, Magnolia Police report the arrest on August 1st of 36-year-old Corey Carter of Magnolia. He is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
