Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute USDA Commodities at 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday (May 26 & 27) at the C.W. Easter Building in Waldo. The food items to be distributed may include orange juice, applesauce, green beans, vegetable soup, dehydrated potatoes, refried beans, peanut butter, corn flakes and chicken leg quarters. All customers receiving commodities must present identification. To be eligible, income guidelines must be met. Income guidelines for this program are based on 130% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
